Greg Howe
Greg Howe
In his 30 year career, Greg Howe has produced, written and arranged nine solo instrumental studio albums along with two collaboration albums with Richie Kotzen of the Winery Dogs. In addition, Howe has contributed to a long list of albums/records by other artists.

Greg Howe has collaborated with artists such as Dennis Chambers, Victor Wooten, Richie Kotzen, Jason Becker, Billy Sheehan, Stu Hamm, Simon Phillips, Marco Minneman, and Eddie Jobson. He's also made a name for himself as a stellar sideman and session musician with artists like Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, and many more. His TV appearances include The Grammy's, American Music Awards, The Tonight Show, The Today Show, The Billboard Awards, Teen Choice Awards, just to name a few.

Howe has also developed a solid reputation as a technical innovator, particularly for his strong utilization of tapping, unusual time signatures and his "hammer-on from nowhere" legato method. His self-titled debut album "Greg Howe" is ranked tenth best shred album of all time by Guitar World Magazine.

In 2006, Shrapnel Records celebrated Greg's 20 year career with “Collection – The Shrapnel Years” – an album containing some of his best musical moments — comprised of shred fest ditties such as "Bad Racket" and "Joker's Wild," as well as the popular "Jump Start" and the funky "Howe 'Bout It." These tracks also contain standout performances by some of the greatest musicians in progressive music, including drummers Dennis Chambers and Atma Anur, Keyboardist Vitalij Kuprij, as well as bassists Billy Sheehan and Victor Wooten along with other world class players.

In 2012 Greg Howe decide to take a break from the instrumental world and announced that he would be putting together a rock band named Maragold, which had much international success.

Greg Howe's new album, "Wheelhouse", which is due out later this year, marks a highly anticipated return to his solo instrumental work. It features Greg Howe at his best along with an appearance from guitar legend, Richie Kotzen (Winery Dogs, Mr. Big). Described by Howe as his most personal work to date, the album is destined to again set the bar for guitarists everywhere.

Musical trends may come and go, but you always know what's in store with a new Greg Howe release, and this veteran shredder certainly won't disappoint with this breathtaking showcase as one of the best rock/fusion players in the world.
Jimmy Spacek
Jimmy Spacek
Jimmy Spacek's new release "PEACE & DISTORTION" captures a fire and soul that emerges from those fine guitar players who came before and those out in the world, serving up captivating music covered in a special Texas sauce. His playing sports a unique style that weaves blues, rock, and soul together with an explosive knockout punch. Jimmy's songwriting is also front and center with lyrics chanting hard-edged blues themes with driving guitar; but also digs deeper on "Broken Man"; about a military veteran who finds himself out on the street. And "Peacemaker" which echo's the never ending quest for peace...plus a cry for a better understanding of our common goals and needs on "Division Fare".

Jimmy grew up on the South Side of San Antonio picking up the guitar at age 14. This area of town also gave birth to many influential Texas artists- Augie Meyers, Doug Sahm and Randy Garibay. Seeking out their music and other great talents like Johnny Winter, Delbert McClinton, and ZZ Top; these artists helped shape his musical vocabulary…as he puts it, "I got to hang out and listen and steal a lick or two" this quote also referring to two of SA's premier rock bands (from the same neighborhood); The Cave Dwellers and The Aggressors. In high school Jimmy helped form The Undecided Mynd, playing a mix of 60's artists: The Doors, Monkees, Rightious Brothers, The Animals and Jimi Hendrix...Jimmy being one of a few guitar players at that time playing Hendrix.

The 10 song project was recorded at San Antonio's Edit Point Studio by Donnie Meals and mixed by Kelly Donnelly at Studio Plush in Austin. "It's always such a cool experience working with Donnie, makes us feel at home and brings out the best playing from everyone". "Kelly is one of the best anywhere in regard to guitar tone and he finds the sweet spot in every instrument for that final mix…we're very lucky he was able to mix the album in and around his busy schedule with Eric Johnson". Also on tap is an appearance from West Side Horn great's, Al Gomez and Henry Rivas on the rock/funk piece "People, Rain & Shine" and "South Side San Antone". The later song is a soulful tribute to the people on the Southeast side of San Antonio and the artists and music Jimmy heard and admired growing up there; simply put in the line, "I learned to listen to the heart and play from the soul".
