Femina-X - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Femina-X is an alternative, Latin band from San Antonio comprised of members Daniela Riojas (vox), Alex Scheel (guitar), Jeff Palacios (bass), Darian Thomas (violin), and Jai Roots (drums). Femina-X identifies as "New Alternative" and creates unconventional fusions with electronic beats, samples, synths, and live instruments. They draw musical influence from progressive tribal and ethnic dance, hip-hop, jungle, Caribbean, industrial, punk, and drum and bass.

Daniela's chameleon voice has the range to both coo and siren, lull and frighten, always reaching from a place of passion, imagination, and child-like playfulness. Her vision, melody, and lyrics construct the world within each song, pulling from her ability to narrate and share the deeply personal with an edge of fantasy.

Femina-X has performed at the historic Arneson River Theater, The Tobin Center for Performing Arts, and Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival. They received The San Antonio Current’s Critics Choice for the Music Awards 2014, Top 3 Best Electronic Bands in 2015, have been featured in Vice Colombia and Remezcla, and are currently represented by TIMEWHEEL record label.
Volcan_ - (Set time: 11:30 PM)
Volcán is a South Texas based Indie Latin project formed in late 2014. The group boasts a full rhythm section (comprised of drums, congas, bongos, timbales, and bass), a full brass section (comprised of trumpet, trombone, alto saxophone, and mellophone), a state champion accordionist, a prolific lead guitarist, and best-in-class vocals. Volcán is all original, opting never to use covers despite their dedication to bringing traditional cultural sounds to a new generation of Latinos.

From the group: we hold ourselves to a very high standard. Creating pieces of music that stretch the definition of what traditional latin music can be and modernizing our favorite classic sounds for a younger audience is an enormous cultural responsibility and we gladly accept the challenge.

Artists Volcán has shared the stage with (only Grammy award winners listed): Jimmy Gonzales and Grupo Mazz Flaco Jimenez
Arte y Pasion - (Set time: 8:45 PM)
Arte y Pasion
Arte y Pasión is a company comprised of Independent Artists accomplished in their own right. We are known for being among the most contemporary of Spanish dance companies in the United States, whose mission is to share and promote the authentic art of flamenco, while exploring evolution and specific subject matter. We've produced and directed such productions as Algoritmos, Angel of Gravity, Ventanas, Dibujos, Generaciones, Arte y Pasión, and Flamencos. Members of our company have received the coveted Artist Foundation of San Antonio awards for Original Theatrical Production, Original Choreography, Original Song Composition and Original Costume Design.

Our talent base and combined experience includes work with the late great Jose Greco, performances for the Ambassador of Spain, presidents of the United States and foreign dignitaries, at such venues from Casa Patas to the Kennedy Center and Broadway’s Joyce Theater, and a John Cage production. We love being a part of our community in San Antonio, Texas, and work every chance we get with the youth of San Antonio in theaters, dance companies and schools.

Arte y Pasión has gained international attention and has garnered the participation of artists from such places as Madrid, Sevilla, Marseilles, San Francisco and New Mexico. At every step we seek to improve ourselves in our work, training and mentoring with our collaborators. We savor the process of our learning trajectory as we change and grow together.
