As a young musician she spent much of her time at her family’s country home in Boerne, Texas, situated on the Guadalupe River. Her time as a naturalist and survivalist instructor made her deeply connected with the outdoors, a connection that is reflected in her stripped-down acoustic sets and her unadulterated musical style.
She started her professional career as an upright bassist for acts such as The Lonesome Heroes, The Bluegrass Outfit, Bo DePeña, Hartley Hall, Daisy O’Connor, David Beck, and Doug Strahan. She spent the better part of 2014 touring the mountain west with The Bottom Dollar String Band, who has opened for Town Mountain and The Barefoot Movement. With BDSB, Georgia played popular venues such as The Parish (Austin, TX), Starlight Theatre (Terlingua, TX), Charleston Music Hall (Charleston, SC). They also performed at Head for the Hills Music Festival in Texas and Frozen Dead Guy Fest in Colorado.
In 2015, Georgia picked up her acoustic guitar and began performing a series of western swing and classic country shows. She has fronted several regional acts, including the Al Dressen's Super Swing Revue and The Railhouse Band. In her short career, Georgia has already made appearances at legendary folk venues such as The Cactus Cafe (Austin), Anderson Fair (Houston), and The Western Swing Hall of Fame (San Marcos).
